The Pact The End

I have finally finished this book and I am not happy.  I think it is mostly because I am a romantic and this book does not end happily.  The author is a very good writer but its just a sad ending.  The boy gets out of jail and is found not guilty, but he figures out he hates her (the girl he loved his whole life).  Thats not romantic.  I understand that he hates her because she forced him to kill her.  I mean she took her hand and put it over his and made him pull the trigger.  Thats pretty forceful.  He has to deal with it afterwards.  I don't think most suicides don't think about the aftereffects of their decision.  It is really sad because everyone she loved just had their life torn apart.
I did like that the attorney finally found someone.  This is why I would recommend the book.  Yes, it is very sad, but it also keeps you wanting to read on.  It's also very hilarious.  I love the awkward moments between the parents and the kids.  It is just a perfect example of everyday things but it is set so that it seems a lot funnier.
