Whew end of the year. SO The Last Song is a GREAT book! it is really sad though. I will admit I was crying, yes I had tears streaming down my face it was so sad. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone though. The book keeps you on your toes and has a little bit of foreshadowing that keeps you interested. It has love, fire, hate, and death. All which are great for a good romance novel.
The main character is a rebel child who though she dresses dark and rebellious she doesn't drink or do anything to rebellious. I think she just likes worrying her parents and feels like she needs attention. She used to be a child protegee at the piano but after her dad "leaves" them, she becomes a rebel child. Her dad really left only because he came home early from his piano tour to surprise her mom and he found out she had been cheating on him. She then marries the guy after they split.
Ronnie, the main character, and her brother have to go to her dad's because their mom makes them for the summer. What Ronnie doesn't know is that her dad has cancer and won't live to see Christmas. They fight all summer. By the end of summer Ronnie has changed her ways found out the truth and stays with her dad through the school year caring for him til he dies. There is a lot more emotional parts and details but this is the short version. O and she falls in love with a really rich, smart, and hot guy. The end. Love Love Lo ve
......I really grabs your emotions so be ready for the ride! There is a lot of information to gather. I hope everyone reads it! I think I may watch the movie now... But I don't think I'll like it because of the main character....
