Hunger Games Continued :o)

This week the Hunger Games continue.  Katniss has decided to volunteer to protect her little sis.  I think this is so sweet and I still feel bad for Katniss, and yet hopeful for her outcome.  Her sister had no chance of winning, but I think Katniss does.  It is so odd her sister was chosen.  The chance was so small, but I guess that is what makes it such a good book.  I think this is an interesting twist for sure.  I hope this book continues to be action packed, and I hope Katniss does well. The Hunger Games are so sad :( it makes me still ask why.  The leaders of the districts ( forgot actual term...) are so evil, controlling, and heartless.  I mean yes a district acted up but they have taken punishment too far this time.  I mean why do you think they acted up.  The government is horrible!! I can't wait to continue reading this book! Also, I do not remember if I previously mentioned this but, I have not seen the movie so this is all new.

  1. There is a reason for the so-called Hunger Games, and a little history behind it, but I'm not going to give it away. District 12 is the poorest district and has never won the games before. Maybe that foreshadows something for you. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

  3. I read this book too, and liked it a lot. And a fun fact is that this book wasn't really a new idea. There is Japanese literature with something similar.

  4. Great Book, I think that Primrose will get chosen next year anyways and die, making it useless that she even volenteered. And the Games are needed to teach the people whats up.

  5. Well, this is our future, sadly. Blood sports and upper class douches and the little people having to fight their games. Oh, what I wouldn't give to end the sad tale of the human race. (I may sound like a crazy person, but let's face it. THe human race is a mad dog. Damn, there I go again.)
