- Holofernes: Holofernes seems very bombast. I feel like I need a dictionary around him. I also think he is a romantic. He just seems to be a poet or something. "This is a gift that I have, simple, simple; a foolish extravagant spirit, full of forms, figures, shapes, objects, ideas, apprehensions, motions, revolutions: these are begot in the ventricle of
memory, nourished in the womb of pia mater, and delivered upon the mellowing of occasion" - Nathaniel: Nathaniel seems to like everything. he is constantly saying excellent, marvelous, etc. I won't name names :) but he reminds me of someone else in our class :). "Ay, sir, and very learned." "Marvellous well for the pen."
- Dull: Dull doesn't seem to speak much except for parts were he is relaying messages. "Sir, the duke's pleasure is, that you keep Costard safe: and you must suffer him to take no delight
nor no penance; but a' must fast three days a week. For this damsel, I must keep her at the park: she is allowed for the day-woman. Fare you well" - Don Armando: Don Armando is a definate romantic. He falls in love and admits it. He talks very smartly. I don't think that is the correct English but you get the point. " I will hereupon confess I am in love: and as it is base for a soldier to love, so am I in love with a
base wench. If drawing my sword against the humour of affection would deliver me from the reprobate thought of it, I would take Desire prisoner, and ransom him to any French courtier for a new-devised courtesy. I think scorn to sigh: methinks I should outswear Cupid. Comfort, me, boy: what great men have been in love?" - Jaquenetta: Jaquenetta seems to speak like a lower class person, but she also has that desperate tone. She just reminds me of a clinggy girlfriend who is always poor me. "Good Costard, go with me. Sir, God save your life!"
- Moth: Moth is a very excited speaker. He lines always have exclamation points at the end. "All hail, the richest beauties on the earth!"
